Finding Christ in the Chaos

Today, I have the privilege of writing as a guest author at Dayspring’s beloved (in)courage community. I’m sharing about my search for intimacy with the Lord in the middle of a chaotic Sunday morning. Probably the same desperate search most of us are on every day during the holiday season, right?

Here’s a sneak peek:
“By the time I stepped through the doors and into the worship center, I felt like I had run a marathon. Surrounded by souls engaged in heart-felt praise and worship, I found my seat like a driver going 60mph who had just spotted the stop sign ahead.
Slam on breaks.
Screeching halt.
Worship mode: GO!
Frazzled and exhausted, I knew there was no way I could flip that impossible switch . . .”

And make sure you chime in with a comment! I’m praying that the Lord loves on you through it, so I don't want to miss the opportunity to personally greet you when you walk through the door!!

  1. Beautiful sis! You're such an encouragement! My Sundays ALWAYS feel like marathons :/ Blessings! Thank you for sharing and linking up :)

    1. i hear ya, misty! oftentimes LIFE feels like a marathon, doesn't it? but His grace is greater. i just need to remember it.

blessings to you & yours this Christmas,

  2. Tanya - I'm so late in commenting to this, but I just wanted to tell you how much I need to hear this message. This has been the big hurdle for me in 2012, and I've elected to make it my biggest pursuit in 2013. I need Christ in the chaos so badly, and I feel like lately my heart has wandered further and further into the chaos and away from Him. My soul is crying out for that peace that comes from being in Him through all things. Thank you for sharing. God bless you!
